Impact of EO 11246 Revocation Checklist

On January 21, 2025, President Trump revoked Executive Order (EO) 11246 through a new Executive Order (14173) titled Ending Illegal Discrimination and Restoring Merit-Based Opportunity. This new order allows federal contractors and subcontractors to comply with the existing regulations for an additional 90 days, until April 21, 2025. Section 503 and VEVRAA requirements remain in effect, and employers must still comply with other federal requirements (e.g., VETS-4212 reporting) and state reporting obligations. This checklist details how to roll back requirements stemming from Executive Order 11246 that are no longer required due to Executive Order 14173.
