Wendal & DCI Consulting Joint Webinar Series: Why Inclusion Matters

As organizations continually struggle to attract and retain employees in the highly competitive marketplace, characteristics such as inclusion and civility in the workplace can often make the difference in creating a high-performing organization. To that end, Chad Peddie, DCI Consulting, and Mark Nagy, Wendal Inc., will be collaborating in a three-part webinar series focused on the “I” of diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA). The series will progress through why inclusion matters, how to measure it, and programmatic efforts to initiate for building an inclusive culture.


The purpose of this session is to highlight the criticality of inclusivity and civil interaction in today’s workplace. To do this the speakers will draw distinctions between incivility and civility, review the characteristics of each and discuss the prevalence of incivility in the workplace. This will lead to a discussion of making the employee and organization business case for prioritizing inclusion, with a specific focus on the importance of civility in the workplace. Additionally, this session will discuss work conducted by federal agencies around workplace inclusivity and civility.
